About Us

The Liberian-American Catholic Association (LACA) is a fraternal network of Liberian and American Catholics and Catholics of Liberian heritage living in the Americas. Founded in late 2013 by Jones Nhinson Williams, the Association works to enhance the historic relationship of Liberian and American Catholics in supporting the Liberian Catholic Church's mission of evangelization and service to all Liberians.

Liberian Catholic priests and nuns are exemplary; they provide a variety of services to their communities: from pastoral ministry and education to community empowerment and social justice advocacy. Thanks to the education and mentoring of the expatriate priests, especially the Society of African Missions (SMA Fathers), the Selesian Fathers and others.
